About the Event

Native plants are essential to the health of local ecosystems, and when planted on residential and communal land, they can restore habitat, support pollinators, and build larger corridors of revived ecosystems. This event supports the movement sparked by Dr. Douglas Tallamy (author of Nature’s Best Hope) and his vision for the Homegrown National Park — a nationwide initiative to rejuvenate ecosystems from the ground up.
