About the Event
Get ready for our first eco-themed BxB, hosted by none other than Mr. Trash Wheel, Baltimore’s beloved, googly-eyed garbage gobbler! Since 2014, he’s cleared over 2,000 tons of trash from the harbor, earning a Guinness World Record, a Dr. Seuss cameo, and even a Baltimore Ravens sponsorship. But fame hasn’t gone to his head, he’s still just a humble wheel doing his part for the City of Baltimore.
Joining our “Hero of the Harbor” are four local icons: Chyno the Blue-Bearded Foodie, ultra-marathon swimmer and artist Katie Pumphrey, comedian Big Fred Watkins, and puppeteer/stilt walker Jes Raschella of Baltimore Hoop Love. Together, they’ll deliver a joyful, art-filled celebration of environmental stewardship, with a splash of humor, creativity, and maybe a little trash.
