Want to plant trees in the city?
TreeBaltimore provides free trees for planting projects across the city!
Tree sizes depend on location but can range from 18" to 10' tall.
Who can order trees?
Groups working with certified TreeKeepers or ISA certified arborists who are planting on BCRP parkland, in the public right-of-way, or hosting tree adoption events. More info on adoption events here.
When can I order trees?
Orders may be submitted year-round but
spring tree orders must be received by February 21 and
fall tree orders must be received by June 27.
How do I order trees?
Fill out the Tree Request Form linked above and email a copy to treebaltimore@baltimorecity.gov.
You will receive email confirmation from the TreeBaltimore team.
When will I receive my trees?
Spring trees typically arrive by April 15.
Fall trees typically arrive by September 15.
You can request delivery or pick up at the Druid Hill Nursery.
We can also provide stakes, ties, deer protection, and mulch.
What am I responsible for?
Trees will need to be adequately watered for the following two growing seasons. Stakes and ties should be removed following this establishment period. Mulching and checking deer protection is encouraged.
What if there is a stump in the proposed location or I want to cut a new tree pit?
