Baltimore City residents and property owners can use this form to request permission to plant trees on BCRP parkland or in the City's public right-of-way.

TreeBaltimore can provide free trees for approved planting projects if a certified TreeKeeper or ISA certified arborist is involved in the planning and supervision of the planting process. For more info on the TreeKeepers program click here.

If you are providing your own trees, requests for spring planting must be received by February 1 and requests for fall planting must be received by July 1.

If you are requesting trees through TreeBaltimore, requests for spring planting must be received by January 15 and requests for fall planting must be received by June 15.​

Planting trees includes a commitment to water and maintain the trees for 2 years. At that time BCRP Forestry will take on any maintenance the tree requires. 

​

Baltimore City's Forestry Division administers tree planting on BCRP parkland and in the public right-of-way according to City Code Article 7§ 53-4.

Property owners can request a tree be planted and maintained adjacent to their property by BCRP contractors. For more info click here.​
