Fun fact

The Maryland State Champion Pecan in Frederick was measured in 2019 to be 140 ft tall with a 115 ft canopy spread. The Baltimore City Champion Pecan, pictured above, was measured in 2021 to be 79 ft tall and 76 ft wide. It is located in Hyde Park in NW Baltimore.
