TreeKeepers 101- Trees & Baltimore: This class discusses the role of trees in clean water, climate change, and habitat diversity in Baltimore. It introduces several local environmental organizations that are working to protect our city and the Chesapeake Bay.

The Baltimore TreeKeepers (TK) offers a variety of classes and workshops to train citizens to care for the trees throughout the city of Baltimore. Classes are scheduled from community requests. TreeKeeper Certifications
Certified Tree Planting Leader Requirements:
- TreeKeepers 101-Trees & Baltimore
- TreeKeepers 102-The Science of Trees
- TreeKeepers 201-Advanced Tree Planting for Leadership Certification
- MUST volunteer at TWO tree planting events held by any TreeKeepers partners (CLICK HERE for full list of partners)
Certified Tree Pruner Requirements:
- TreeKeepers 101-Trees & Baltimore
- TreeKeepers 102-The Science of Trees
- TreeKeepers 202-Advanced Tree Pruning for Certification
- MUST volunteer at TWO pruning workshops held by any TreeKeepers partners (CLICK HERE for full list of partners)

- All classes are FREE

- Classes & workshops are indoor/outdoor-please dress appropriately
- There are FOUR core TreeKeeper classes: TK 101, TK 102, TK 201, & TK 202
